OEM Fog Light Bulbs
I'm thinking about switching my OEM Fog Light bulbs. I was wondering what kind of bulbs you guys/gals are using?
I was looking at these. Any good? (cheap, but the only ones I could find on ebay)

I want the same lighting performance my stock bulbs are giving, I just want a color change.

Well, basically any traditionally-coated bulb is going to reduce light output over an uncoated bulb of the same wattage. This reduction in output can sometimes be justified if the resulting light is a desirable color (e.g. yellow/amber light is thought to improve visibility in poor weather). However, these blue coated bulbs will not only reduce the actual light output, but will also produce a color that will further reduce visibility and increase glare in adverse weather, which is exactly what you don't want in a fog light bulb.

Wow, thanks for the knowledgeable reply
So, anything other then amber/yellow is not going to be good? I'm not really looking for blue color, they were just the only h3 bulbs on ebay. Would white work effectively? or would that have same effect as bluish bulb?

White, or uncoated bulbs, is what the lights come equipped with stock. Unless you buy higher-wattage clear bulbs or bulbs with a different gas mixture (such as Sylvania Xtravision), there's no point in replacing the ones you have with new clear bulbs. Quality amber bulbs, such as PIAA Ion Crystal, would be a good upgrade, and the type of coating used on them doesn't significantly reduce light output.
