i have a problem. i have my engine in and when i tried to plug the speedo cable into the trans i found out that the cable isn't long enough. has anyone else had this problem? is there a cable that has the same ends but is longer? i'm guessing the right cable will probably come from a 90-93 integra but i just want to make sure before i go buy the cable. the trans is an s1. i have the new hasport mounts and i used the rear trans bracket from a 90 integra p/n# 50827-sk7-020 help please.

it should fit, you just have to press it in there with a good grip. I used stock DX speedo cable with my B16.

 

ok so maybe i could make it fit but it would be stretched to the max and if the motor moved at all it would get ripped out. is there an application that i can order another cable for that is a little longer? anyone...

 

erm... maybe an integra 90-91? I believe it's the same length... i fried my speedo cable and got a used one....
