Removing Door Panels -> 92 Honda Accord

Mine is a '90, it should be the same. The cover you are talking about that is close to your mirror is just a plastic plug. Just use a door panel removal tool (preferably) or a long flat-head screwdriver to pop the clips loose around the edges of your panel.
As far as screws go, you have one on the edge of our map pocket on the left side, one in the bottom of the handle you grab to shut the door, and one in your door handle assembly.
According to the Hayne's book, you can gently pry out the door handle assembly and disconnect the connecting rod behind it. In my case I had to pry really hard and ended up breaking off the plastic clips that hold it in! Just be careful, but if you do break the clips on the back of the door handle assembly, you still have a screw to hold it in place.
