Hey, I am going to be trading my 1990 crx si.
for a 1990 civic si hatch.plus 600$
my car has the following mods.--
neuspeed race springs
lower and upper strut bars/ and tie bars
carbon hood
vx wheels
intake,header,2.5inch exauhst
some other mods i can't think of right now
it has 154k on body.stock motor with around 90-130k
verry little rust,
the civic.
1990 civic si hatch
all stock
w/ b16, b16 tranny, and obd1 conv.
also verry little rust, its red.
i don't have any pics of the civic
but its my friend and he knows what he's doing when it comes to EF's
i get to keep my hood. and thats it
worth it?
i think its a pretty even deal.

looks like an 88-89 kuz of the front bumper lens.but it says 1990!? maybe i'm wrong maybe they are like that for 90 as well.

To me that sounds like a good deal man. Especially if you said your firnd knows what he was doing with everything, I say why not? Go for it. It has the 88-89 corner lights, I don't think it is a 90 unless he replaced all that stuff with an 88 or something.
No, its a bad trade IMO
I would much rather have a CRX than a 90 Hb any day of the week. Its all up to you though. from the pics of your CRX it look too clean to be trader for a HB. Sweet rims

keep the rex!!...but i guess im biased cuz i drive one....seems like a fair trade tho if the swap is clean...does the tranny grind....does it burn oil...probally want to find those things out first

Keep the rex man. Think about it. He is willing to trade his B16 powered hatch for your crx and $600.00(do I have that right?). You are losing on the deal. Buy his hatch for $600.00, plus a set of steak knives.
Or save that $600.00 and put it into a ZC or B16 swap. You will be happier in the long run. Don't get me wrong, man I love hatches. But they're still 2nd best to the CRX IMO.

It is a 88 CRX and not a 90
due to the corner lense, whe you said it has rear disk breaks, a conversion has been done to it. Regardless it's still a sweet Cr-X

i will hold my final opinion on the trade until i see a pic of the hatch but..i would keep your CRX(only because i drive a CRX and i am biased as hell)but besides my own personal feelings..who brought up the idea of the "trade"..you or your friend?(i always seem to get suspicious when somebody says to me.."hey!! ive got an idea..")if this guy is your friend and you know the quality of work put into the swap, etc. then..might be worth it(if you're bored and want a little change)but..you could take that $600 and put it into your own car..obviously this decision is up to you

the car is a 90,
no swap was done to it
but the front was hit
it is much more feasable to see it being hit then swapped w/ 88 parts
than(knowing the guy I got it )
swapping brakes
the title says 90 and that what i go by
(oh yea the gauge cluster surround thingy is rounded and not squared also)
