I ran both of them (Auth. C-West and Knockoff). From far away, they look almost identical. When You look up close, you'll notice that the cut where the bumper slides under the headlight is not cut well. Sometimes, it will leave a gap under the headlight due to the bumper sagging. The bumper relies on the beam under the headlight to hold it in place.
Another problem area was the spot where the center grill of the bumper attaches to the core support. You may have to tweak the fiberglass on the VIS copy in order to have it mount.
Like I said, I ran both. If you're in SO Cali and you have to deal with the way idiots are on the street, and the parking skills some drivers out there posess, I say run the VIS. Cuz I'd be heartbroken if I had to shell out 600 for a new bumper after some lady backed into my car or some ****. PERFECT EXAMPLE: Only 12 days out of the body shop.....

This does not relate directly with the C-west bumper or its knock off but I had purchased a VIS body kit for my Eclipse the "Blitz" knock off along with a carbon hood and the fitment was good. Also a friend of mine purchased the VIS carbon hood for the JDM Integra front and the VIS hatch and the fitment was good also. I do not feel they fit like OEM but they fit better then the other kits/carbon products I have seen. Maybe this will help a bit, hehe
