Does your car have any CEL's?

Pull back the passenger side carpet and count how many times the ECU light blinks.

i think its more than that, you sed you car is jerking? like its bucking? it could be your idle valve and or a clogged fuel filter.

there are a few valves i would lookt at, right behind the intake manifold, its boloted to the back side of it,also check under you throttle body, there should be three bolts holing that one in place, i have always had problems with both of these valves.

the idle air control valve is located on the backside of your intake manifold it will have 2 small coolant lines going to it and 1 electrical connector
sometimes you can take them of and clean them but I'd just get one from a PICK-N-PULL

ok,before you go out spending money.take it off and clean it with idle control valve with carb/choke cleaner. then re assemble it. also take the valve off from under the throttle body and block it with a piece of a cerial box and tighten it back down, see if it has any effect. if not replace the iacv .
