Does anyone know of aftermarket mirrors for the 4 door or is there any modifications known?

Well if you're talking about direct fit (into the stock location), then I don't know of any. However, if you're talking about totally different mirrors, then there are "mirror plugs" that cover up the stock mirror location and you can bolt on new mirrors to your door (or wherever you like).

I will try to find an example.

EDIT: Here are examples on S2000's because when I had mine, many owners were doing this.
