Default 93 civic hatch

Ok, I'm new to this so a lot of these questions might be really stupid for some of you guys. A buddy of mine just wrecked his 93 hatch. It looks pretty bad in the front end, but nothing leaked out. The car still runs...it just needs new front bumper assembly, headlights, corner lights, radiator crossmember and a windshield he went through. He doesn't want the car anymore and gave it to me. Now I want to fix this thing up and drive it. Before I ask my questions there's a couple more things...my little brother just upgraded his 97 integra to a 98-01 front end. he has a spare front bumper cover, headlights and bumper lights and he also has a spare hood froma while ago. My questions are: 1. Do I need a integra radiator support on the civic to be able to bolt up the integra front end on it or can I just use a civic radiator support and bolt the integra fronmt end on it? 2. Does the integra radiator support bolt right up or do I need to cut and weld it into place? 3. How hard of a conversion am I looking at? 4. Should I just go ahead and buy all new civic parts and fix it that way and not worry about the integra conversion? Now jsut to clarify, I'm just inquiring about this conversion because I already have some of the parts needed out of the integra and I know this can be done because I've seen it done before. I really don't care if it looks like a integra or a civic in the front. Thank you for any help you might be able to give me. Chuck

Well, most people on this site are gonna flame you for this post.

You're going to have to mod the fenders for sure.
Not too-sure about the radiator support, but you probably need to mod it to make it work.
I've seen alot of these conversions and let me be the first to say.DONT DO IT.
Ugly, too-much work, and on top of that..... it is still ugly. Just keep it as a civic.
My .02.

Thank you. I really don't care what other people think. Like I stated on my first post, I'm just thinking about this conversion because I already have the parts from the integra and again I don't care if it looks like a integra or a civic.

Does anyone else have any information I might be able to use?????

980 people on here right now and noone has a thing to say....

You are going to probably be better of just getting the civic parts to replace it. there is going to be welding and modifing to have that conversion, like any, to work and look right.

you will need the teg support and have to weld that in place. I will look as I know there is some info out there for thsi conversion..
good luck on whatever you do...

The main reason you are getting so-few responses is b/c this conversion is so-disliked on this forum... Plus this has been discussed a billion times. And it is a stupid thread-name (for what you are asking, sorry).

I know you want to do the conversion b/c you already have parts for it....
But your going to have to ruin those fenders anyway(cutting & welding). Need to possibly buy civic fenders to do it right. Change a bunch of supports (requires cutting & welding). Test fitting... filling.... bondo-ing. Sanding.... etc etc. All-in-all, this is not just "a walk in the park" conversion.

You said it yourself, "I don't care if it looks like a integra or a civic."

Isnt it just easier to buy some fenders and a bumper and call it a day. Plus you'll thank yourself for it in about a year when you're not getting made-fun-of everywhere you go.

*edit- If your still stuck on doing it, here is a good place to get started.

That's all I needed to know. I just wanted to know if it was a big job or not. I'm good with welding and body work, so that wouldn't be a problem. Thank you for the reply though. I'll most likely fix it back up with civic parts. I do like the civic front end better anyways. And again I don't care at all about what other people have to say or who they laugh at. I've come to a point in my life that none of that matters.
