question about zc dohc bottom ends and regular sohc bottom ends ...

Is the zc shaped different than sohc d series bottom end? Ive never had one but someone told a friend of mine that you can throw a dohc zc head on any d series bottom end. I know their both d series but I figured the blocks would be shaped different due to the dual cams. Is this true?

dohc zc head technically wont go onto a sohc block..

But dont tell this guy that,,He put a dohc zc head onto a sohc 1.5 block..Dont know how he did but he turboed it to.,..https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1083489
