Type R stolen
Today driving home, I saw a 98' Championship white ITR stripped to the shell, left for dead on the corner of 47th Street and Perry Avenue in Sacramento. Seem like everything was gone but the doors, rear bumper, and trunk, What a sad site. Anyways just wondering if anyone lost one this Morning in Sacramento. Damn theives
I don't want to be anywhere near that car, Ain't trying to get busted for dirt I didn't and wouldn't touch, Just because I myself have a DC4 with R suspension and front-end coversion

I wanted to but then I know they are going to ask for all these techincal questions like do I have the VIN or plate numbers, a call back number just in case, and stuff like that, plus it was stripped already anyways, theres nothing I could do about it, unless I saw them dump it or stole it

Check for VIN and call cops. Report back to us any findings.

yeah i agree with this...but he didn't witness anything, next to spotting a stripped shell! I mean i completely understand him not wanting to involve himself. Should a police-officer see him investigating the situation he becomes part of the suspicion whether he likes it or not. They WILL ask him questions, and although he would be fine providing that he responds correctly
, i don't blame him for not wanting to involve himself.

have to agree....especially since he has R parts on his car....weather legit or not...questions will be asked and fingers pointed.......believe me it happens all the time.......(this coming from a legit type R swapped hatch owner who gets accused ALL OF THE TIME for stealing R parts)
lets just hope the cops do there job and find the real thieves....

Happens all the time in NORCAL..............the only thing is that many of the norcal R owners don't come on HT. Most of them are a bunch of bandwagon kids. But nevertheless they don't deserve to get stolen. That's probably why you don't see a lot of posts of them getting stolen, but there are tons getting stolen out here. Not only that, but when they can't find R's they steal GSR's and swapped hatches. Nobody is safe anymore.
I just like to think that the thieves one day will only be left to steal from eachother. All the other R's should be stored away.

Yeah, and wherever it gets towed to, they'll probably charge the owner a daily storage fee until they figure out what to do with it.
