Default Bye Bye EG8........Another one bites the dust.

Too bad.....anyone know if this can be fixed??? I have another complete EG8 for parts, I was going to transfer all the parts over. I wont if someone can tell me I can fix this, and still be safe to drive like I do.
The crack on the subframe is on the passenger side front. the welds from a previous accident look like they rusted/ gave out. I was wondering why my car dropped 1.5 more inches on the pass. Side during my evening commute

Anyway you could find out who did the work previously. Could be getting it fixed or a replacement for free.

if you REALLY like the car you might be able to get someone to weld another front clip on that way you wont have to repaint anything and you still have your car. But thats a shame to see a 4dr go

I wouldn't trust another weld job on that honestly. Too much of a chance for me to drive on that when you have another shell laying around.

Slap a dab of JB Weld on it.

That really sucks. I think the worst part is that you have a nice paintjob on a chassis that you can't use any more.

In theory you can take all of the panels from that car (door, fenders, bumpers) and move it to another car, and just have the roof and quarter panels painted. Actually wouldn't look too bad if you could find a harvard blue EG8.

That has to be the scariest sight all day. Start switching, its to bad because the paint job and rest of the car is nice.
