Ok, I purchased a clock that was suppose to be out from a '99 us type r and it's not lighting up amber. Is this a real type r clock or a regular integra clock?

 

no such thing as a 99 US type R

if it's amber its an R clock though

either diff year or from a non US car

'99 = 1999. Are u saying in 1999 there was no type r made in the US? All I want to know is if the clock I bought is really from a type r bc I assumed all itr lite up amber.

 

mine lights up purple when they turn on and then change to yellow when i hit vtech

no such thing as a us 1999 type r

 

if it ain't lightin up amber, it ain't a 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001 USDM itr.

 

type r's were only available in the us in the years 97,98,00,01
they were available in 99 in canada

but as you say your clock doesnt light up amber
im assuming it lights up white like regular integra's
if it is white you bought a regular integra clock not a type r clock

and i think do did get ripped on a non-ITR clock

I'm amazed you have over 2500 posts and didn't know that there was no US 99 R.

I have an extra clock too, I need it for my rebuild on my 2nd R but would sell for the right price.

ya, I know it was a real newbie question but my posts are mainly turbo related and I assumed itr were from 97-01.

Anyway, how much are u asking (pm me)?

Yes you can or at least in mine you can. Not orange/amber = other integra, sorry man.
