accord blower motor makes funny sound
the blower motor for my heat/a/c makes a funny noise when on speed one occasionally. It still works though. Can I just grease the bearing in the fan or does it need to be replaced? Anyone have experience with doing this or know how much a new one costs?
Can you step over to the side so we can see what YEAR & MODEL you are asking about?
My crystal ball is out of service, and I failed clairvoyance class 101
The fan motors have oil impregnated brass bushings, you would be wasting time and effort to take one apart, clean it, soak the bushing...etc. Because if the bushing has worn to the point of squalling and screeching the brushes are probably worn out, and the armature will need to be turned

My 99' has the same problem. At low speed you can hear a pulsing almost in the blower. It's very faint and I can only hear it when im at idle and until it dies I'm not gonna sweat it
