Default quick insurance question

i recently got rear ended. so the other peopls insurance is gonna fix it. the question is, will it matter if i bring the car to the shop wit no motor. or will there be a problem with the insurance company. will they say something

the reason i pulled the motor out was because i need a car to get around so i put my motor in another shell.

to be honest, I have no idea, I think different insurance companies would have different opinions on it. I think the shop may have a bit of a problem with it since they cant drive it in and out of their garage or whatever... But maybe youll find someone that doesnt care as much

Hey im a insurance agent for farmers insurance in Washington state. It depends if your taking it too the insurance perfered shop or a shop you perfer. Are you taking it to a shop that you want or what they wanted????I don't see know problem of you taking out the motor since the damage is too the rear. Plus the claim is not about the motor. Is the car drivable?? The shop might have problem if they need to move it around. You should talk to your agent and ask him first.

I am taking the car to my prefered shop. the thing is that i am going thru their insurance. i just dont want to have a problem. i talked to my agent and she said that it is no problem though. and that the othre insurance company shouldnt have a problem either.
