Default a3, runs rich stock?

i was just curious for those who have k20a3's, do our motors run pretty rich in stock form(like most cars), or do they not have that trait so much because of the vtc, and different fuels maps? also has anyone used apex safc to tune the fuel ratio with good results on these motors?

stock ECU runs the motor a bit rich while you're on WOT. at partial throttle, it runs it at stoich 14.7.

better a little rich for reliability than a bit lean.

u can adjust the fuel but u won't be able to adjust cam angles with a safc. hell i dunno if u can even adjust ignition with that.
