Default HELP ME ANSWER SOME HEAD SWAP QUESTIONS....

hey guys, i am gonna do a Z6 headswap soon, and im gonna fix up my stock A6 block.....my car is burning oil due to burnt rings...i know i need to re-ring it, and probably re-hone the cylinder walls..do i need a new oil pump too??.., and should i fix it to OEM specs or not.....and will it be expensive to fix a block??....and i wanna know what parts do you guys use when you need the essential parts...like,,(distributor, alternator, timing belt, headgasket)...do you guys use OEM HONDA parts...or like autozone??....please help me out!!..let me know some prices of all that it REQUIRED!....

Definitely replace hard-to-access parts like water pump, timing belt, HG, etc with OEM. You'll be doing yourself a favor in the long run.

Alt and dist just get rebuilt or autozone or whatever, save some $$ that way.

No clue on block rebuilding prices however, sorry man.
