Im looking at a mig welder with gas.
Hobart? The hobart 145
or
Lincoln? Lincoln 135

What do you guys think? Any other ones in the price range of 500 dollars that are better then those two?? NEW NOT USED?

In my opinion welders are kind of like ford and chevy. They all weld, and if you get a decent one, you arent going to be dissapointed unless its user error. Personally i would choose a miller, why? Just cuz i like miller. Out of those two choices i would choose a lincoln. But to each his own.

I'd pick the Hobart 145. It's a great machine, and likely cheaper than the Lincoln. In other words, the lincoln won't have **** over the Hobart.....not weldability, not amperage, not features, not price, not availability of parts....nothing.
