Default dx and si spindles the same?

i am swapping a zc into my 1991 hb. it comes with a zc tranny and i know that i need 90-93 teg axles. i have been told by some that i will need si spindles because the dx ones are smaller. butr then i have been told that dx and si are the same and all i need is the axles. it is a canadian car if that makes a difference.also will stock axles work with the zc tranny?

As long as you have a dx or si you are fine. The hf and std hubs are smaller than than the Si/Dx.

Doesn't work.

Will not work with a transmission that uses an intermediate shaft (like the ZC trans). Will work with other D-series transmissions though.

Or if you want to be really gangsta tear apart the tranny and replace the differental and retain the ZC ring gear....You'll need a 40mm bearing differental though. EX's are 35mm If you swap the diff's you can use regular d series axles

No reason to do this unless you want to save the money of not having to deal with different axles...but you'll have more torque steer so just get the right axles.
