94 Accord LX Braking issues
I have a 94 accord that when I hit the gas hard then hit the brakes I have a severe shimmy to the car. It feels as if the wheels are wobbling. If I drive the car without getting on the gas hard I do not have the problem. Also after driving the car for a while driving the car under 20 miles an hour the car feels like ithe steering is very loose. kinda like you are driving a boat.
Thanks for any help

Let me modify my reply. If your front end shakes during acceleration, more than likely your tie rods are severely worn. You should raise your car to where the tires are off the ground. Move your tire (either side) as if you are turning the wheel left and right. Your movement should be back and forth about an inch or two this will show you the slack in your tie rods. But if its only during braking then its your rotors. ( Make sure you steering wheel is locked in position ). Beware of severely worn front end parts such as tierods, and ball joints you dont want your wheel to dislocate from either end.
My guess would be not rotors but some front end problem. I would get it to a good front end shop before it get worse. I am not use to front wheel drive but if it where rear wheel drive I would say ball joints are tie rod ends.
My Tie rod ends have been checked, my rotors have been turned. I am still having the same issues. I have been told that it is possible the Axels or the CV joint. Does this sound right.
