Default Stock seat + Racing Harness?

Anyone have this combination? If so, how does it feel? Do the shoulder straps stay put like they would with a racing seat? I'm thinking about getting a 4-point harness to use whenever I go to the track...I have a Recaro SRD but I might sell that. Just looking at my options. I'd like to see pics if you have any

Don't get a racing harness if you don't have a roll bar/cage - you will die in a rollover because it will hold you upright while your roof is caving in. Stock seatbelts are designed so that you will submarine in the event of a rollover, since most cars don't have roll cages.

If you already have a roll cage, disregard everything I just said.

sounds good to me I'll just stick with the regular seats then...I don't go to the track that often anyways. Thanks for the safety info!

just to clarify what you're saying (and i totally agree), it's ok to use a racing harness with a stock seat, provided there is a roll bar?

Yes, if you have a roll cage and a harness you will be fine, as long as you are sure that your harness has some good anchor points. I see a lot of people using racing seats, no rollcage, and using some weak c-pillar bar as their anchor for the harness. That is definitely not safe.
