Predicament: My 94RS with Sus+Rims or Bonestock 94 GS-R
What would you do in this case? Keep the RS and put KYB's/H&R's and 16" Subzero's, or sell the RS the way is now, and use all the money to buy a GS-R of same year and same mileage?
KEEP the RS and swap a gsr into it, lighter than a normal gsr and doesnt have all the fancy stuff the gsr has..
or sell the RS and get a 92-95 cx/vx/hx hatchback and swap a gsr in it. and i would also stay away from 16" rims, more rotational mass to spin, 15's are idea for most honda's anyway(IMO). plus cheaper tires when one goes bad.
or you can always boost the LS motor you have now.
but the choice is always yours.

man a gsr, i love my pigteg which is an ls with a swap. but i would sell the thing right now
to get another hatch.(5th gen). cheaper car, less parts to make that car go fast(less weight to pull)...
gsr has to much weight. sell the rs get a jdm gsr motor and 89-95 hatch(stay away from si) and i put money
down that you will love the hatch ten times more...

could you guys please tell me why you would go with a gsr over which car? hopefully not a 89-91 0r 92-95 hatch
with a jdm gsr swap?
with a jdm gsr swap?
You should keep the car. The reason I regret getting my car is because it has a auto tranny. I am either going to get a manual LS or LSS or a GSR (either 95 or 96)

Keep the rs and just put a gsr swap in it, you will have 300lbs less with the rs over a gsr which will always make u quicker than just a gsr.
But you have to think about the resale value if you decide to trade it or sell it. I think it will be cheaper to get a GSR.
Dont forget about the insurance too, the gsr is alot more then the rs. I'll keep the rs if i were you and drop an motor in with the money you save from insurance.

and IMO, if you have any thoughts of ever selling the car, i wouldnt put any money into it anyway. your not going to get what you put into the car anyway. i dont know if your going for show, fagracing, or auto-x/roadracing? but if your going for the last three, i would really keep the rs and grab a jdm gsr or itr swap. or even get the 88-91 or 92-95 h/b with swap. and i dont know if you company will cover your parts on the car, but mine does and he told me if i got a h/b it would only be like 50-100 more to have everything covered that i put on the car if it gets stolen... so you might be paying a little less for coverage on your rs with swap, but you'll have a faster car than most.
just MHO, the choice is still yours.
Forget about a swap. All that work and money for 30 crank HP?
If you're going to be investing that much time and money, I'd recommend boosting your stock motor if it's in good shape.
Do the suspension first, though. I always find suspension upgrades more fun than power upgrades in terms of fun per dollar when you're behind the wheel.

THAT was one of my suggestions that i told him to do earlier, boost the ls motor that he has.
but i never did give him any info on the suspension.
here's what im rolling on my ls teg right now.
skunk2 coil-overs/kyb agx shocks
fr/rr upper strut bars
rr lower tie bar
rr ES bushings(control arm)
stock fr/rr sway bars(for now)
soon to have
skunk2 fr camber kit
skunk2 rear sway bar w/ beaks kit
spoon or benen fr lower tie bar
fr ES bushings(lower control arms)
or itr lower control arms
the skunk2 kyb can be kind of stiff, which i like somedays and others i dont.
but for what i have now it corners hella nice, cant wait to finish the set-up and see how it performs then with some falkens
azenis.
