Default what do u guys think of this deal

A kid i ride with at college is selling on of his bikes
its a 2002 ninja zx6r. 4,800miles all stock
it was laid down needs right side fairing, both footpegs, left turn signal and has small crack in tail secton but nothing bad only about an inch. and on the upper fairing the peice that holds the mirror to the frame broke off (about 6inches of it) thats all the damage

and he said he would sell for 2500. i figure its a pretty decent deal. what do u guys think

also needs a new rear tire and chain

the only thing i would say that hurts the deal is the broken piece of frame for the mirror. Is it a bracket or the actual piece of frame b/c that is 2 WAY TOTALLY differnt things. And if you could get some pics up here it would help a lot!

the cracks arent anything to worry about just the safety. Get some pics up dude!!

I agree with nitrousFed900...As long as you don;t mind riding a ratched up bike it is a great starter bike at a good price, as long as there is no frame damage..

it isnt my first bike. ive been riding a while just thinking of picking up another bike for pretty cheap.
the part broke with the mirror is the upper fairing not the bracket or the frame sorry for not making that clear. it still screwes into the frame but the part of the fairing that goes up by the mirror is missing.

there are no scratches dents or anything on the frame, swingarm etc.

oh ok... well then it seems like a pretty good deal to me then. If you are going to trake it then you dont need mirrors anyway b/c they have to be removed when you are actually racing (at least thats what i was told). Just remember YOU are the only one seeing this bike and how much damage/costly repairs is actually done to the bike and we can only give you advice on what you have given us. Good luck

It sounds like a pretty good deal. It's something that I would pick up.
