the 91 motor is obd0, the 92-93 motor is obd1...if you wanna get the 92+ b18's, you also need that year's ecu to run everything (as well as a 4 wire o2 sensor, distributor from that year)

are parts interchangable? i mean, can i turn the 93 obd1 engine into a obd0 engine. i have all the parts from the 91 and i want to use the 93 block and head(which has fewer miles) and change whatever i need to make it work as an obd0.

Yeah b series parts are interchangeable so you can run a 93 engine as an OBD0 engine but I would reccommend running OBD1

90-91 is pre-obd and has 130hp
92-93 is obd1 and has 140hp
Both have cable trannys..

The 92-93 has more agressive cams ..
