Default loofa sponge?

i just got a greddy catch can and i heard since they arent baffled to open it up and run a loofa sponge in it or a piece of steel wool? if so do i just pop off the top and put either of them in there?
i was thinking about running one of them strait to my pvc and the other, i want to drill a hole and add a fitting on my valve cover to vent it. any suggestions??
how does adding either of these help my catch can? (sry noob) and will either of these disenigrate (sp?)

thanks

Yup. Just don't pack it in so that it can't flow easily. Also, you might want to title your threads a little better next time.

It doesn't really matter. It's just to 'baffle' the can so the oil won't go straight through the can; which is what you're trying to prevent.
