i have an 89 crx hf and i want to put a 90-91 crx hf dash in what do i need to do exactly? i have the dash but what harness do i need to use? any help would be nice!

I am sure the other dash would work! I have swapped dashes in a DX into an SI and it worked. I am sure the HF would be the same!

 

i dont have the factory dash!

 

but what dash harness should i use?

 

The one thats in it!

it's 41 out side and i have to walk well over five miles!

 

You won't get much help for trying to take out the front dash board.!!! leave it and dont mess with it.

 

i dont know much about dash swaps, but you should have to change anything. and if you do just re solder the new plugs onto your stock harness, there is only one wasy to find out. go try it and if you run into problems im sure one of the guys one here have done it will chime in.

i have a HF crx and I tried taking out the dash from it. When i was doing this, I saw about 6 metal that was solder onto the frame. It's not going to be a just bolt on dash when u do it. Expect crapload of trouble. I broke my heater console inhalf trying to do it. I regret it. But it still works. Wasn't able to finish the dash removal cause of the solder metals so i end up putting it back. Not worth it.!!!

 

i just need to know which harness to use with the 90 dash and if you dont know tell me how to repin the dash please!
