Default Whats the consensus on the COMPACT BAR & ROD BENDER

http://www.harborfreight.com/c...31980

I need to bend some 1/2" pipe with a 2" radius and 3" radius..

I know this unit is going on sale at harbor freight stores soon ( I have inside info) and its gonna be $75...

Anyone know if its worth it ? or will I be buying another tool that doesnt work...

First off what are you using these bent items for? Second thing this bender is for solid rod or flat stock. If you try to bend a tube or pipe you will just crush it.

Jerry Bickel sells a nice bender for 1/2" tube, about $89 or so i think. If you could find somewhere else to buy it, i'm sure you could get it for closer to $60, Bickel is pretty high on stuff. We use them at the shop though and they work great.
