UPDATE: R status
For those of you who don't know about what happened to my R last weekend:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1141679
anyways, I've decided to not drive the R (since I'm paranoid) until next school year when I move into an apartment complex with secure parking. I think it's a wise move and my life will be a lot less stressful and burdensome. I hate always having to worry about the safety of my R especially on friday nights. The parking lot which I parked at previously was an open parking lot.
So, today I've officially stored the R at an undisclosed location and I'm now driving the newer model camry until next year. All I can say is, a camry is not a R but at least it'll get me from point A to point B and there's a lower chance of it being stolen compared to the R. The last few months have been great driving her. She will be missed but at least I can focus more on school and that's why I'm in college in the first place. Law school, here I come.
*To all my fellow R owners out there, keep your R safe.

Good decision.
Was there any damage sustained (scratches or the like)?
They were after your bumper cover & hood emblem I guess.
Good luck in your career.

good decision. apartment complex secure parking is hardly secure anymore though. by then, hopefully you'll roll in enough doh from your college education to get a garage.

This should be displayed somewhere where everyone can take a good look at it. The decision that you made, I feel, was very mature and intelligent. It seems that this topic is brought up several times a month. The worried college kid should definately consider this alternative until out of school, or a better situation presents it's self to start driving the R again.
