way i see it, i don't care what my bike looks like as long as its mechanically immaculate. i do wish i didn't sell the damper because now i can actually find a need for it. i will agree with you on the list never ending though.

not very but it is helpful if you want to take just wheels to mount tires rather than the whole bike. can usually save a couple bucks that way.

 

but for just storing the bike, all you would really need is a rear stand?

How long do you plan on storing the bike? You'd want both wheels off the ground so you don't develop any flat spots in the tire. You'd also want to put fuel stabilizer in the tank and hook up a battery tender to the battery.

take a knife and cut a large hole in the bottom of your wallet. proceed to open and peer thru the hole. i wish i had an MR screen.
