Replacing rear speaker grille on 92 Lude
I am thinking about replacing old and faded rear speaker grille with fancy aftermarket ones. Would aftermarket grille fit in place of old grilled without any fitment issue? Crutchfield recommends to use stock grilled... any thought on this?
OMG. I haven't had stock grills for so long that I forgot how nasty they are! EEEWWWW. I used aftermarket ones and they fit fine. They were even the cheapies from Pepboys. It's just a plain black grill. It's more of a press fit than anything. If you have a brain.... you can make it work.

link/pics of said speakers/grills? I need to replace the speakers in my prelude, that thing rattles too much.

not any, you have to do some research/measurements. some will fit perfectly, some will require customization.
Crutchfield should have a list of what fits.

I used Ritt cloth dye. I just dyed the carpet on the door panels. I used detergent and it caused the carpet to fade.
However, the dye made it look nice. Nice and black again.
I am going to dye the rear speaker grills too. I've done them before. I didn't mix salt in the mixture though. Hopefully, they will stay black longer than they did last time.

just remember that the rear spkr housing and grille are not perfectly flat. there are countours to accomodate the slight slope of the rear deck. thus, not all aftermarket grilles will fit.
i just took my stock grilles and painted them w/ a light coat of black spray paint. it sounded like a ghetto idea at first but it worked great.

shouldn't you make another thread for this? kinda not on topic...
stock door speakers are 6.5" on 4th gens. Without changing a bunch of **** around you cant fit anything else.
