whats the difference between cable and hydro transmission and which one does the crx have? and same for the obd is it 1 or 0 and are they hard to convert if you want to do a ls/vtec and a gsr transmission

Crx has cable tranny..
And the crx has pre-0bd(obd0)

You can do an lsvtec with a obd0 head..And you can get a 92-93 gsr tranny..Its cable...
There are kits to convert the car to hydro tranny..Hasport.com
And there are obd0-0bd1 conversion harnesses to convert the car's wiring..Blown90hatch sells the best harnesses..And droppedcrxsi

I'm doing a ls/vtec with a 98 GSR head (obd2) into my CRX. While yes, I can run it obd0 (just need the dist and ecu) I"m converting it up ot obd1 becuasE I'll be boosting it and want to rub uberdata. YOu can get several cable b series trannys or get the kit either way you're good to go, hydro's are suppose to be stronger so it's up to how much you want to spend.

If you can, stay away from LS trannys = there gear ratios are "teh suck".
