Just bought a Rebel...

As the title says I just bought a Rebel, and just needed a little feedback. No car pictures right now, weather hasn't been great. Just picked up a tripod tonight, these shots are without the tripod.

Any comments, suggestions, tips, etc. would be greatly appreciated. We-todd is killing me BTW, keep that in mind. Please go easy on me, hehe, I'm still learning!

No editing done on these pics BTW, only added a border and sig.

j00 should jump on the sales going on....ive seen them going for 600-700 in the classifieds.

Do you have the same problem that the flash on the rebel pops up when you are taking a pic and it hits the brim of your hat and then says error because it doesnt go up all the way and you have to turn off the camera? It happens to me all the time. Its very frusterating.

Looks like j00 and I have the same set up. I bet you got the damn thing at Future shop like me and got the 63" Optex tripod too. How about the SanDisk 512MB card?

LOL. i noticed mine goes to "sleep" if i dont use for several minutes to an hour but i leave it on. then when i try to take a pic, the camera doesnt respond. weird.

i know their all over the place, and i havn't found one for 600 yet, i wanna get one fairly new with a waranty still at least, my money is juuuuuuuust out of reach for oen right now, 700 would break me till i got paid again next friday

Hahahah OMG, that does happen actually, I guess you noticed I was wearing my hat backwards in the Oakley shot. I learnt that after about 3 times of doing it and have yet to do it again, lol.

Almost the same setup yah, I've got two 256 Highspeed SanDisks, only because I got them for free. And I got the 61" Optex Tripod, only cause it's the exact same thing for 20$ less, and I'm a cheap bastard.

Yah I know, I reread it and was like "ah wtf? oh well". Just letting people know to expect better quality than whats up here right now.
