Default ABS Light on after completing the 5 lug conversion

Ok...after doing some searching, I keep running into this statement "gunk on the rear sensor". I followed each thread I found and checked everything. Everything was bolted on fine and as it should have been....wires are fine...nothing crimped, broken or whatnot, no fuses blown....everything is there. However....I did notice that the rear ABS sensors on the teg had like some kinda ( what looked like ) shavings on it. Though I spaced it and didn't clean it off. Could this be why the ABS light is on? I plugged the code reader "thingamajig" in and no codes showed up. The threads found via search never really gave a clear answer on it ( then again...I may not have used the search feature correctly ). If anyone knows if a simple brake clean spray will do or just cleaning it off will work or whatever else it may be...please let me know. *puts flame suit on*

may sound silly, but did you reset the ECU?

reset the ecu and clean the sensors off. the sensor is a magnet that reads off a tone wheel (wheel with teeth) to measure wheel speed. if to much metallic shavings build up the sensor cannot tell when there is a tooth under it and when there is a space.

alrighty! Finally some concrete answers or...at least solutions!!!! And no I'm not being sarcastic....I kept asking around because I never ran into the ABS light coming on, but I will definitely do as you both suggested Seriously....I really appreciated your help and thanks for not coming off as ******** ( as it tends to happen I noticed )

This perhaps is probably the sole reason why I choose to stay on H-T !

I have another problem now...my car won't start...@*^#$@*&%$@*&%$^%#@$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! CEL light came on.....

ok so I took your advice and jumped those two wires together using info found here:

http://www.team-integra.net/se...=code

and here's what I got 4 damned codes .....a 1: Oxygen Content , 8: TDC position 13: Atmosphere pressure, 14: Electronic Air Control

So now I'm going to ask some stupid questions....am I screwed? I asked someone locally here and I know the TDC has something to do with the distributor.....but what the hell are other 3 and how do I go about fixing this fine mess I've gotten myself into???

oh and btw...again no codes in reference to the ABS light....so I'm just gonna try th good ol cleaner upper and reset the ECU......

SOMEONE PLEASE HELPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
