These are the things i would do to keep the swap simple and cheap:

Wire the engine obd0, use a pr3 ecu.
Use a Skunk2 Intake manifold
I HIGHLY recommend a b16 cable tranny. <-- cant stress this enough.

umm pr4 is definetly the wrong ecu to have. That ecu is for a ls engine.

You havent heard of a b16 tranny? thats just a little self explanatory, its the tranny that comes with jdm b16 swaps and the cltuch is engaged by a cable instead of a hydro system.

Then what is a pr3 ecu? ummm so the b16 tranny is better than a ls tranny?

PR3 is OBD0 Came with the jdm B16 motor

B16 has shorter gears due to vtec
LS has longer gears .

Click on the search button at the top right hand side of the page.

type in 'Hydro conversion', Select this room and click archieves

Repeat by typing in "B18c1 swap'.....Enjoy you new information

I would personally convert it to obd1....You can get a slick *** conversion harness for like $104 shipped...OR you can just get the pinouts and go get some FREE wire clips at the junkyard and do the wiring yourself. Not that hard at all.

I'm currently working on my obd0->1 harness for my ls/vtec in my CRX. Only reason why I'm going to obd1 is becasue I'll be using uberdata for the management. TurboEdit is great and all...but dealing iwth the PS9 ecu is kind of a pain in the ***...not to mention the "limit" of 450cc injectors in TE is a pain (Yeah I know you can manaully adjust each row, but **** that ... I'm not going to do that much work).

For your tranny...get something that is shorter geared than the LS....if you ever plan to drag race you'll only use 2 and half gears for a 1/4.

no prob brother, you semm alrgiht.

If you can, go obd1. Evasive Motorsports sells there conv harnesses for $59 shipped i think, something hella low. Boomslang also sells conv harnesses here for $74 shipped and they are VERY high quality.

Its just that 2 of these b16 swap what do i need threads were already locked today.

OT: why is it that its us 3 posting everywhere in conjuction...lmao

its great that you want to learn but just like in school you cant just ask questions the whole time, you gotta read the book. Take some time to search HT and a majority of your questions will be answered. I know sometimes there may be things you dont understand and you need some help with and those are appropriate times to ask questions but try to keep them as narrow and specific as possible. Enjoy Honda Tech it can be a beautiful thing

Search first and then come with specific questions, it helps HT as a whole and will eventually make it easier to find the specific things by searching... Understand?

P.S. i like that school analogy, well put.

He has a GSR swap...you tell him to use a PR3 ECU which is for a B16. Hmm 1.6L vs. 1.8L

Also...he is going to have to go out and find pins to add to his stock harness...not easy to do and not for this guy it seems.

If you are going OBD1, find Blown90Hatch on here and buy his OBD0-->OBD1 conversion harness, find a 4-wire O2 sensor and be done with it (as long as your 'swap' comes with the proper ECU and a working distributor)

What work? Just download my TE basemapping program and you can input ANY size injectors and it calculates it for you
