Can Wilwood drilled and slotted rotors be turned

Some brake shops will and others won't. Reason is the way the cutters are angled. The fear is that the cutter will catch. Also keep in mind that a set of "blank" rotors may cost about the same as turning what you now have.
I don’t know if it’s so much a problem that the cutter will catch, at least I don’t see that being the problem. I think it has to do with that inserts they use to cut the rotors do not like interrupted cuts and it plays hell on the cutter tip.
