Talked to the developer of the LFT Technology R3 head and neck restraint at the SCCA national convention where he had a booth with his product. It has met the SFI-38.1 standard. I found it interesting in that unlike the Hans it does not rely on the seat belts for restraint, can be mounted in the seat, and looked like it had good number relative to the Hans device. I think it has just been rolled out to the public after development for a while. Their website is

Bump... I'm curious as well. Anyone know how much these cost? The website's somewhat sparse.

 

I think the price quoted was around $900. About the same for a Hans I think.
