i picked this thing up last year for dirt cheap. needed alot of TLC but its finally together. i cant wait till spring time to get it tagged and on the road!

get rid of the banana seat...fzr's look SO much better w/o that seat. Its looks damn clean tho

 

its a yzf, not an fzr... can you put an r6 seat on a yzf600?

i dont like the seat either but its kool. first bike is my first bike.

dont know yet but it has 6,*** miles and its a 2002.

who gives a **** what the bike looks like. As long as you enjoy riding it. My bike looks like **** and is heald together by zipties, I still rock that **** hardcore though.

 

i've seen a yzf600r with a r6 seat. he had to weld on the rear subframe or some crap. just seems like too much work to me.

 

you can always get a seat cowl from pyramid..i had one of those..it was pretty nice..it just slips over the rear part and it also has a lil custom on the back. kinda like a lil backrest.

i never really liked how rear seat cowls looked on the yzf600r... it doesn't seem to sit flush like on other bikes with banana seats (ie: cbr600 f4, superhawk, etc.)
