Which CR would be best for these cams in a b18c1, 11.6:1 or 12.0:1? Cant decide between p30 or ctr...this isnt a question about which pistons in paricular, because ive searched. no info directly relating to those cams tho

 

I am running an estimated around 11.3-11.6 and I dont think it was enough (260-265 psi all the way across)
I would go to 12:1 if I did it again
although I was running them in a 1.8l
I think it would depend alot on if you had an 84mm block

I have about 11:1.

 

Beings that the specs are similar to cams such as skunk2 stage 1's, toda a's, etc. etc., the sweet spot for those cams is probably around 11.5:1. Any higher and you probably would start to undercam your motor.

 

looks like the p30's...little more reliable anyways
