H22 With F22 tranny?
Anyone driving a car like this? I am swapping a H22 into my 92 Accord LX, and I was thinking of using the F22 tranny. I'm not building this car to be a 1/4 mile terror I just want some more grunt for around town. The longer gears of the F22 would give me better gas mileage, but I wont do it if it would totally snuff out the H22's extra power.
As far as gas milage goes it will be great. But with the long gearing of the f22 tranny every time you shift you'll fall out of the power band and loss to much "usable" power. If that makes sence.
Jville huh? You wouldn't be a Marine or anything would ya
I have no plans to boost this car, I just want a fun daily driver while my CRX is all apart. Which is like all the time....

maybe this will help you out some...my times on my 1990 accord with jdm H22, P13 ecu, $hitty intake, gutted cat, and stock exhaust was 15.1 with the F22 tranny
right befor wrecking the car and selling it i had put the H22 trans in and went to the track, ran a 14.8...made a big difference....although the weather was a little cooler out when i went with the H22 trans
