Has anyone successfully installed their Vafc on an OBD3 ecu without the check engine light coming on? If so please inform me on how you did it.
.....I'm guessing you mean a p73 for that itr you've got?
I installed mine with no problems. Plug and play. I got the kit from kenji on this board.
Recheck and solder all of your wiring connections if you are having problems.....

From what I was told by mechanics and other Honda guys is that the 00 and up GSR's and ITR's are OBD3.

It is OBDIIv2 which you are mistaking for OBDIII.

OK so the 00-01 are not OBD3, then what are they? I was told that it was OBD3 key coded by the dealers, and other Honda mechanics.

And OBDIIv2 started in late 97.
OBDIIv2 started with the 99+ cars...except the HX w/CVT tranny which started in 2000
