Default 92-95 axles in an EF

I have a friend that has a set of 92-95 Dx axles and wants to swap some parts. Can these go into my 90 hatch? I need new one because I'mm going to LSD but I'm not sure if they'll work in my car?

I don't have them in my hand so I can't measure them. Has anybody tried this?

I tried a set from an Si. The outer CV joint bound up in the knuckle.

Meaning they were slightly longer right?

Not sure if they were any longer.
I am sure that the diameter of the CV was larger and locked up inside the knuckle. The CV actually pressed up against the metal of the knuckle.
