Default JDM Type S and USDM Type S??

I was browsing on the Japanese Honda Website (didn't understand anything though) and saw a Type S with a Type R...I was wondering if anyone knows the differences between the USDM Type S and the JDM Type S? I tried searching but didn't find anything.

I believe the JDM Integra Type-S is our BASE RSX. Correct me if I'm wrong.
