head bolt reuse?
It depends on how many times prior they were removed, it is though good to be on the safe side and order new ones, but I reused mine as they hadn't been removed since....ever.
Do yourself and get some ARP headstuds. They will withstand a whole lot more abuse than the stockers and they are designed to be used over again. Plus they I think they are almost cheaper than buying new OEM ones from a dealer. I got my set for $120.
If your budget is stretched they can be reused. Everybody says once. Some say twice. A handful will tell you they never needs replacing.
Last time I checked, a new OEM set would run like $80. The ARP set can be found for around $100.
Given that they can be reused and are a better design(stud vs bolt), the extra $20 is easily worth it.
Pair the studs with a metal headgasket and it's a much better setup then when the engine was new.

If you don't have the money for the head bolts you can get them cryotreated. Go to http://www.deepfreezecryo.com it's pretty reasonably priced. They have been proven to get 700%
gains in durability. Check it out.

and its easier to install and reinstall the head with the studs.
