y0 wassup, my girl recently totaled her accord and im lookin to come up on this crx for $100 Clean title, body is pretty straight for its price, needs a new pass. side 1/4 window and a new head gasket to get her runnin again. the color is Superior Blue Metallic, i think.

I could only take a quick look at it b4 i had to head off to work . Will take a better look at it tommorow. I was wondering...

Do HFs ever come stock w/ A/C? Also are they basically like a STD hb? TIA</TD></TR></TABLE> no ac (hf's just have the basic's) but $100 is a great deal

HF's come 5spd and they have mpfi..Not 4spd and dpfi like the std..
They get like 50mpg if they running right..And the 88 hf is only 1800lbs..

 

hf at least in 1989 had ac im dont think 88 came with ac....you lucky bastard(if it has no rust that is)....

yea i knew the hf was a 5 spd. but glad to hear its mpfi and gets good gas milage.

 

i have a 88 hf and it has a/c ( well it HAD until i took it out ) , great economy car and good year and model for swaps.

aight heres the deal im buying it from a legit mechanic shop. the ownr who is a lady owes the owner of the shop $$$ and shes in jail. the car has been there for a while so this is why im ifffy...he doesnt have the pink.. he said he will write me a bill of sale and hit up the DMV and report im buying this car but it has a lost pink. i have never done this before and dont know if it will work. im pretty sure it will though. so ya...

hed basically be stealing the car? I know theres laws in some states that if a car sits at the impund or a tow truck companies inpound, they seize the vehicle and sell it, im not sure if that applies to mechanic shops.

When I bought my CRX, the owner also did not have the pink. They only had the vehicle transfer sheet so they sign that with my signature and went to the DMV today to register the vehicle. Now I only need the smog certificate to be fully register.

88 HF only came in blue or white - no red
my 88 HF has A/C

Exactly, i dont know about mechanic shops....

If the car has been seating at the shop for a while and the owner hasn't called asking for it, the shop can legally sell it to get the money they spent on it to fix it if they haven't been paid.
