Trying to save some money, I came up with good idea.
My dilemna was
I NEED to change my timing belt for $550.
I WANT to put pistons and rods in for $750 (thats just for labor).
My idea is
put the pistons and rods in and do timing belt at same time. I believe this should save me a couple hundred dollars. Simple idea - nice savings. Just like to share my first steps toward building my street machine with all of you.

well the motor has to be pulled anyway so do the belt atleast yourself should cost 80 bucks for parts
Not trying to insult the thread starter, but based on his post he should not touch his car with wrenches. I would never install pistons myself in a motor without having a machine shop inspect and correct and deviances first.
