Testing the waters for a product
I am wondering if anyone would be intersted in carbon fiber parts for 2nd gen crx's. The reason we are only doing them for crx's is because that is our project car at the moment and is really our only honda here.
We are currently in the product design stage at the momement. We have been working on a few different designs for interior pieces, but we would be enthusiastic on working on parts under the hood.
How much would you be willing to pay for something like a center gauge console? What would you like carbon fiber parts for? Any ideas that will help us help you in the future?
Here is a picture to give you some ideas of what we can do. Yeah, I know talk about flaming gay with all the gauges, but the guy paid a hefty pocket to have us do this.

Feel free to flame away and criticize all you like and I apoligize if this is in the wrong forum. Thanks for your time.

I would be interested in a stock shaped dash with center console, and door panels, along with the rear corgo cover... All remade of carbon fiber with a thick durable gel coat...
I'm thinkin of a few things people ALWAYS need if you can get them made cheap enough.
Exterior:
- The door pillar covers (everyone needs em, charge $50 a set)
- The body trim on the sides of the car. (175 full set would be do-able by alot of ricers)
Interior:
- If you can make whole rear compartment covers, they'll sell like hotcakes but they need to be hinged etc.. (priced between $100 - $150) (stock ones sell for 60+ on ebay sometimes)
- whole center consoles.. Always good, hell i might buy one! mines old and cut.
- ebrake cover! always a good one
- the door handles on the inside
make those
I wouldnt bother with the gauge hood but if you want to go for it. That's a lil too rice even for ricers
IMO lol
