Default Transmission Options

Well im wondering on swapping to a f-series tranny right now i have and auto ss and im wondering what is needed to swap i mean can the whole tranny bolt up or do i need to swap the gears to an h-series case and all the bits needed to make it work and such id really appreciate the help thanks in advanced if its neccesary the accord tranny i want to use is an P2A8 i beleiveand just another question i wanted a quaife lsd in the future is there one for accords or can i use the prelude one sorry not much of a tranny guy and i know i dont use pncuations its ok

what are you trying to bolt the f-series tranny to? Which tranny are you using?

ohi should have mentioned this is a 2001 base ss and i want the p2a8 tranny from an accord in my lude i want the gear ratios and the question was will the tranny just bolt up or do i have to swap gears into a h series case etc.

If I were you I would get the H23 tranny for your car. It has SLIGHTLY longer gears than the 5th gen tranny (2,3,4 gears). F22 is too long. It won't be as fun driving the car...but then you will be able to get your car up to 170mph. lol

well the plan was after i had the engine built and boosted to have long gear ratios to make sure the turbo will spool

oh yeah and to make sure that my prms are mad low at cruising on the freeway from lookin at everything ill be at 77mph at 3000 so thats what im hopin for to
