I know some of you guys have invested in head units that match the Type R amber interior. I had seen a post before but I can't find it anymore search-wise so my question is which of the Alpine head units have multi color displays that can match the R's interior? I like the look of the CDA-9847 but am not sure. any takers?

 

The CDA 9835 has is capable of changing the illumination. It also has the capability to control the IPOD. I use it, I like it. Just get navigation and no one will pay attention to what color the buttons are...

that is a hell of a good match

 

The 9833 also has 512 color choice for the buttons as with the 9835 as shown above.

 

The 512 Color change is only for the buttons on the left.. not all the buttons to the head unit!!!

Looks like mine only the 4 square buttons on the left of mine are blue.

 

What model Alpine are you running? You should be able to change the 4 buttons on the left to amber as well?

 

The 3 highest end Alpine models can be totally converted to amber.

Thats just how we do... Bringin the old back to life... After they don't even make the ITR anymore so some would consider that old.
