Custom mounts, wiring, linkage, and driveshafts will certainly be needed...not to mention even some b-series swaps you have to bend cross members. Give it a try if you want a project and you have the money/resources to do it.

Then again, why would you want to stuff that POS in there anyway?

I'll give you points on originality but that would be pretty expensive, I've seen that motor and it has quite a bit of hood space to work with in the eclipse and talon and the 87 CRX that has very, very little. Have you seen a B16 in there before? If you really wanted to do something like that to a honda, go with an EG, plenty of hoodspace.

Not worth it, if you want to do a FWD 4g63t in a light hatch, put it in a Colt. It uses the same ****!!!!! I mean 4g63's are cool, but there cool in there right cars. Build honda motors in hondas.

yep you've definately seen one in a 5th gen. I had pictures of it too...ill see if i still have them...if i do i will host them. EVO 8 4g63T in a lil white civic hatch. Supposedly they took the evo awd components as well. having the awd would be the only advantage here...it is very possible, and probably cheaper to build up a honda motor that will kill a 4g63. im gonna go look for those pics now.

no that doesn't work...BUT try this right lick on the pic (when you are looking at it in imagestation) and copy the URL under propertys. Then come back to this thread and put it between the two boxes the pop up when you click the image button on the tool bar here.

Just so you know how to post pics now

I was thinking about putting an WRX engine into my civic. I know with the money spent I could just build a bulletproof LS turbo that would be just as fast....but being different makes me feel so cool! What do you guys think?

in an impreza i think the motor is mounted as if it were a front wheel drive, transfercase puts power to the back wheels. it pains me to see stuff like that tractor-pull crx ...my favourite car...lol

thats the way i looked at it first. Then i realized that its kinda a good thing all these guys are ruining the CRXs that are left. Ours become more rare with everyone that gets riced out and crased, and everyone that a stuipd kid decides to crash one...so before you know it only us die hards will have one, or two...or 3
