...because numbers are a great metric to base performance on.

anyone see that BOV real close to that wheel?

I remember seeing something like this on a Camaro or something too. I'd like to see how it performs.

yea actually thats not a bad idea for those who want "sleepers". I have seen this before, because you can't hear the turbo on the car. The only way you know they have it is when you see the intercooler, or if your going slow enough to hear it.

At highway speeds the sound on the exahust and wheels cover up the BOV and spooling.

And you dont really lose too much power from what i have read.

Creative turbo aside, those tires sure do look narrow in that first picture.

Makes sense, don't have to drop a ton on a manifold.

last time I checked the turbine spins due to hot expanding gases. So mounting a turbo so far away will not work for ****. That is why people go to such great lengths to create equal length exhuast manifolds to mount to the turbo. That turbo will have about a 2 minute wait for it to spool.
Does this sound rediculous?
the gases are not as hot 10 feet down tube from the engine so it wont spool as good.
this is just from a mechanical engineering/ physics stand point.

i see what your saying, but this actually works pretty well. LIke i said, i have read things and threads on it before. People do it to mask the turbo and BOV. And it doesn't take as long to spool as u think.
