Default Some quality Dealership work..

I had my head rebuilt by acura, this is after 1800kms and no vtec.

The belt wasn't even put on proper at the bottom. When I noticed I stopped driving it and put it away for the winter. As I went to start it to put it in my shelter, It made a loud barking noise and died, will not start. I think my timing belt snapped. F*ck they suck.

if they did the work under warranty, you're good to go.

EDIT: the dealer created that mess. i was assuming the opposite due to your title. regardless, go back and talk to them and see if they're jackasses about it. most likely though, i think they'll be willing to repair the damages.

unacceptable.....

in any given dealership there are great techs and then there are parts changers that cut corners.

sorry to see such shabby work from an acura dealership....

take it back, and they'll fix it free. you just got unlucky. a lazy or shitty tech worked on your car. hope you have better luck next time.

wouldn't really expect any less, but I would never let a stealership do a rebuild. Sure there are a few great techs here and there, just like anywhere, but you won't always get them. My independent honda/acura mechanic woulda given you a 12 month/15,000 mile warranty on that, which i think is pretty darn good.

hope you get it fixed ASAP and they don't screw ya. threaten BBB or something.

Its a Belt. They wont take you seriously if you threaten to sue them . Just say hey this got fucked up since you guys messed with it and they will replace it . Its a $20 part and 3 minutes of labor

Usually those people do better quality work in my experience. You just gotta find out what language to speak to them in

That poor belt
